This is a shot from the series of photos taken during my stay at the caribean soma bay world resort in Egypt Hurghada.

It’s an HDR shot of the Grand Hall a.k.a the reception at the resort ,it is the first thing you see when you arrive and its just ridiculous the huge marble floor  ,palms in the middle ,crazy zebra wooden chairs ,huge Greek columns and the Pièce de résistance was the huge light green dome from which you get the feeling that you are in a 5 floor  building . It was the best spacious and nicely chilled reception ever  and as always the staff was polite and lovely since this is my second time in Egypt i now know that once you get across to Africa people seemed more polite ,energetic and happy which is nice for charging your batteries from the working year 🙂 . I really regret not having time to  photograph the huge 4 chimpanzee statue that was in between the 3 pools  oh well maybe next time 😀

I also shot this photo while i was on vacation in Egypt hurghada, the shot was kinda complicated because there were always people inside i mean it was packed 24/7 because the food was amazing literally everything on the menu was well prepared and delicious .After a talk with the friendly restaurant manager Sayed about doing this shoot he kindly agreed to give me access before the restaurant opened early in the evening before all the guests arrived for dinner . I took my camera on my tripod and all the cooks and the master chef came to me because i was the guy with the huge camera ( i had the nikon d800 back then ) i said no problem and shot a group photo of the staff and everyone was happy but i had only minutes to capture all the angles of the beautiful restaurant so i stepped up my game .After i took the images i had no idea how well will the final image look i had no laptop with me to process them right away but after i got home i processed the images and was amazed to see the results i mean the polished wooden floors , the palm leaf pillars ,the one of a kind animal engraved chairs and of course  the best thing was the ridiculously real Savannah sunset ceiling , Just take a 2 minute look around this photo and you will be amazed by the many details of this unique restaurant .

This is a shot i did while i was on vacation in Hurghada,Egypt. This particular shot was done in an extremely fast conditions because i was resting near the pool when i saw the sunset  which was incredible and only appeared that day its was like the 9th day i think ,so 9 days the sunset was crap literally sun with no clouds but on this day the Egyptian magic appeared . I ran like a kilometer to my room(huge resort ) which was on the 5th floor no elevator 😀 grabbed my gear and ran like crazy to the pool in all that fast craziness i forgot that the gear was in my pretty cold room  and just as i set up i get my eye to the viewfinder and i see just fog  1-0 for the Egyptian high humidity , thank god for the lens cloth i carry with me saved the shot . Just as it came from nowhere the beautiful sunset was gone in  2 minutes  and is probably the best sunset i have seen in years  hope to get back to Egypt to shoot the pyramids with this kind of sunset in the background .

Image post-processing info: 7 shot hdr done in photomatix for base image and manually blended in the other shots and finished with nik software color efex pro 4 ,onone pefect efects 9 and topaz clarity.
